It was late and I was tired from driving so we pulled over to sleep at a state park in Missouri. It was a warm evening and I laid down on the ground to enjoy the starry sky overhead. It suddenly seemed like the stars were moving around and I though to myself, am I seeing things? Then I realized there were hundreds of fire flies so bright against the dark night that I couldn't tell them apart from the stars. It was a luxurious feeling that I captured in my song. released July 11, 2022
